Hello. Just a querty but I have my house on Airbnb listed for $136/night and a cleaning fee of $50. Just wondering why when I have an enquiry, the price is stated as $101/night and the cleaning fee is $49.00. Surely Airbnb doesn't take $35/night off us?
@Tanya14 -- Usually when there are questions like this, it's because of currency confusion, especially for countries that all use the $ sign. You, in Australia, see prices in your dollars. Americans, Canadians, even New Zealanders and others, see the prices in their dollars. So, what are you seeing them in when viewing bookings and payouts? Where was the guest in question booking from?
Also, you offer both weekly and monthly discounts. Might those have come into play? (There's no way to tell from your question because you didn't provide much detail.)
Thanks Dede for your response and getting back to me. I worked it out though. I was in the pricing section where the discounts are. My fault completely. When I recently updated my price I didn't realise that the discounts automatically defaulted to some crazy high amount. Have now fixed it. Cheers
I list my place for 85, no discount, USD and airbnb just did a instant confirmation for me for 51? why???
I would also like to know the answer to this question, as my price min is set at $125nt and ABnB accepted a reservation and only charged the person $49 a night, for 7 nights. I do offer discount for 7+ days but this is way more than the 20% off I offer. I would have rather kept that week open for my other "" site I use and actually be able to pay my bills! That is a very big loss for us and we can not keep using ABnB if this happens even one more time as we have big mortgage and other bills to pay! Ant ideas?? I tried more that once to contact a help person through ABnB to no avail!
