Hi everyone. we're new to Air BnB and experiencing some confusion around pricing and reservations. We have two rooms - some visitors expect the room rate to be for both rooms and not as a rate per room. I can't find anywhere that allows me to show it is per room - can anyone help? I also need to know if the calendar will show blocked on only one room reservation? All a bit woolly! Many thanks for any help anyone can offer. Mary
Hi Kayne,
Sorry to bother you but I was just reading your response to Mary and I'm having this very same difficulty too. I've had many families want to book my 3 rooms that are available and end up getting the price only for one room thinking they're getting a real bargain and when I explain it to them, I lose the booking every time.
If we do separate listings for each room then a family has to go into the 3 different sites, 3 times and book 3 separate bookings - there must be another less complicated way for them/us to see the calendar's in one place and know straight away the availability and pricing. Otherwise it puts people off completely.
I know this is not your problem but you're the only one that I can see answered the same question/problem I have too. 😞
I'm brand new to this and just can't figure it all out. Is there a number for help to call or do we just have to fumble around in the dark! lol
Most sincerely,
Lee
You need to make a new listing which is for all the rooms.
In my previous house I rented out 3 different bedrooms.
I had a listing for each room seperately, plus one listing for all three rooms together for bigger groups up to 7 guests.
But then if someone books all the rooms together... do u have to quickly mark off the individual. Rooms so no double booking occurs???
You would do it before you accepted.
