Refund of Service Fess

I want to refund a guest the airbnb service fee they incurred for cancelling their reservation. There doesn’t seem to be any option to provide a refund to the guest on the reservations page and the resolution centre is not providing a refund option. Any idea if there are other methods through airbnb to offer refunds?

Hi @Jenna-and-Diarmid0, Airbnb keeps the service fee - always.  I read that vrbo refunds the service fee to guests who cancel (depending on the cancellation policy).  You can refund the guest some or all of your payout for the cancelled booking (assuming you will receive a payout).
