Request references, Email your friends - error

Hi,

I am trying to send emails to friends and people I know to get references but I only managed to successfully send one only as since last week I get this error message and the emails are not sent

"You did not provide any email addresses. Please try again so you can build up your reputation!"

Any helps with that? I see other hosts had the same problem but can't seem it has been resolved

Got this reply when I contacted Airbnb:

"I'm sorry you've been having trouble with the references. We’ve been investigating the cause of the issue, and we’re working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Thank you so much for your patience and taking the time to alert us to the situation. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."
