Same day requests - while I turned it off

I cannot seem to turn off same day requests. I mean it is turned off in the application but i keep on getting new requests. I find it annoying to have to cancel requests and dissapoint people but nothing else I can do? 

anybody with a similar issue?

Yesterday I had a similar problem… and somewhat dangerous if I was not prepared…

I have same days cut off at 2pm and instant booking…

Yesterday I got a same day booking at 5:32pm… House was ready and no harm done… But it could end bad for me and disappointing for the guest if the house was not ready and if I was not prepared for such situations…

Best thing to do is contact Airbnb CS and inquire with them…

We had a similar problem. We have it set to only allow bookings for up to 3 months out. Then we got an instant book for 7 months out! We didn't even have the price set that far out, so ended up having to accept at a lower rate than we would have. Airbnb helped us out with that issue, but they really need to focus on making sure the site works properly. Lots of constant issues like this.

`The sad lesson here is that the booking platform is riddled with bugs - such as yours, but also dates releasing automatically (particularly for July and August this year). So the lesson is that with such a flaky system you should always check the dates manually. It's also one of the reasons we would never use Instant Book (although there are others too)
