I have a guest inquiry and we negotiated dates and a rental amount and a more stringent cancellation policy through the messaging. However, I cannot get the Special Offer to submit. I wonder if it's because I changed the cancellation policy. Or if it's just not working.
I cannot figure out how to contact customer service and I'm frustrated that I have to post this to a message board.
I had a seemingly similar issue earlier this month when I tried to offer a change of a reservation for a different guest from 28 to 30 days. It wouldn't work.
@Erica14 Just took a brief look at your first listing. Is the reservation you are questioning about also a Long Term Stay? If so, you have already indicated a 34% discount so I'm not sure you can send a special offer to override that. As for a Long Term Stay cancellation policy, Airbnb has its own Long Term Stay cancellation policy. Here's the link:

You can certainly have a contract with a stricter cancellation policy but don't expect Airbnb to collect it for you since it would be outside Airbnb's policy. Basically, with Long Term Stays, you are on your own.
You probably have already read this, but if not, here's what Airbnb has to say about Long Term Stays:
I contacted Airbnb customer service by phone ( https://community.airbnb.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Contact-Airbnb-A-Community-Help-Guide/m-p/16165#M728 htt... ).
They indicated that I should use Chrome instead of Firefox as my browser. And sure enough it worked on Chrome.
