Stupid Host Mistakes LOL...

My guests this past weekend I have called and talk to more than a few times on the phone. It only dawned on me this morning I had been calling an international Egypt number all weekend. Thank heavens I have an international call pack on my phone, it's still more money than US calls, but not as bad as it could have been. Shaking my head how I did not realize this from the start. Hello, can we say stupid in more ways, it had two digits to start +20 than the rest duh, I can be a real idiot at times lol... What other stupid mistakes have you other hosts done? I hope I am not the only idiot out there ;D

@Letti0 I actually call and text international numbers all the time and I don't have international call pack on my phone since the mobile providers here don't have post-paid international packs. The phone bill gets quite high in the summer but it just comes with the season and we are used to it. But I have done some quite stupid mistakes. Three groups of 4 guests for my three apartments came at the same time and i mixed the apartments 4 times, so they had to change rooms 4 times. I don't know how I even managed to do that but it was a mess ( in my defence one of them hit a kid on a bike with her car in front of my house so I was a bit shaken up trying to get her out of trouble ). I am sure there is more but that is definitely one of the stupidest things I have done 🙂

Well @Letti0, I hopee you didn't call them in the middle of the Egyptian night... Since you didn't realise where they were.

@Sandra126  They we're in my rental house, so it was not like I was waking them up.

@Ana1136  Here the phone companies have different packages that included Mexico, Canada and other places for $XX a month added on to your basic US calling package.

Oh my, @Letti0,  I stayed at the Savoy in London some years ago (lovely, and what great history!), and had my computer plugged into their wireless.

Only there for a night, but CLEARLY didn't understand how to disconnect from their wireless completely.  (The computer was off.)

My bill on check-out was just over $1500 US.

I think I might win this little contest.
