Tab when booking for extra costs

At our beach side apartment we offer linen at extra cost, if guests require linen i have to get money for linen by requesting money after they book. It would be great if Airbnb had the option of guests paying any extras at time of booking. Extras could include linen, meals, transportation etc that guest require. The problem with requesting extra money now is you can't request extra money until quest has paid full amount. If quest has only paid deposit you are unable to request extra money. If the website had a tab for any extra costs when guest is booking it would be much easier for guest and host. Anyone think this would be a great idea. Thanks Bruce

Is that for guests to select if they want linen?, only about 5% of our bookings want linen.

hm... @Ria16 I found it under listing / pricing / standard fees / linen fee ... but it seems if you set it then it will apply to every booking the same as cleaning fee. So the only choice @Bruce-and-Alison0 have is to charge it through the resolution center or as a special offer.

@Branka-and-Silvia0 ahh my mistake . I did come across the tab recently and thought what a good idea as I sometimes make up my little futon for extra guests

in this case you can set up a fee for extra guests after x guests. For example my base price  is for 2 people and then 10 € more for every guest after 2 up to max 6 guests. So for 2 guests is 50 €,  3 guests = 60 €, 4 guests = 70 € etc...

Thanks Branka & Silvia. Yes that is way i do it now by resolution centre or special offer. It just would be so much easier if guests had the option of selecting any extra costs at time of booking. Does Airbnb have any area where you can leave suggestions for improvements?.

Oooh an "extras" tab would be such a good idea. You could use it to add breakfast, or a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, or one hour late check out, or luggage storage, as examples.
