That was the message I received from the guests who were due to check in sometime between 7pm and 10pm. Did they drive past or what..?! I'll wait a while and see if I can get more info from them.

The guests booked weeks ago.  As same-day bookings cut off at 8pm, the chances of getting the room filled for the next couple of days are pretty much diddly-squat, I will not be listening to any refund requests!
