Unresponsive booking

I have a guest coming who instant booked about 9 days ago. I've sent the same request for information (approximate time of departure) 4 times with no response. I've explained the cleaner needs to be arranged in advance and it's to ensure she doesn't interrupt the guests stay. There has been no response.

I would like to cancel this booking but don't want to be hit with cancellation penalties.

Any suggestions?

Set things/cleaning up that beat works for you this time. As I am renting my home I want more control and stopped doing instant book - result is fewer booking that work better with my life

Why cancel it? Arrange the way you would do and send an email to let the guest know the schedule, so they can work around it.

Like my fellow hosts say, certainly don't cancel and set up your cleaning time.

Write to the guest that you have unfortunately not heard back after numerous attempts to reach them and that you have simply needed to book your cleaner today.
