WHAT IS GOING ON?

At about 1350 UK time I edited my two listings by adding the word "cereal" to the contents of my welcome packs which are discribed in my "details of space" listing. The changes were implemented but then we started having loads of issues. Firstly all my ratings were removed from the majority of the system, this caused my listings to be removed from both the family and work collections. Then my listings showed that basic requirements needed working on and finaly my superhost status fell below the required level. I believe that there is a software bug in the system which has caused all of these issues so fellow hosts beware!!!!!!!!! BNB have informed me they are working hard to resolve the problems but time will tell, its now 1720 UK time some three and a half hours later.

It's a system wide problem, it  has happened to a lot of people, nothing to do with any changes you made.  Ours is the same thing, the reviews still exist but the super host, work collection and basic sections all the data is gone with a warning we need to improve.


Airbnb told me they are working to fix it.

Seeing this here as well, and I didn't make any changes. I am going to ignore that bright red lettering, which is easy if you don't load that page.  🙂

The question I would like to ask AIRBNB is:"if you knew this was a system error why didnt you tell me and save me wasting a great deal of time". We all know that software has issues some of the time but when you think it is only you, then the stress level goes up and the mind goes into auto!!!!!!!!!

@Shaun69   Exactly. I just sent a message to Airbnb to alert them that this glitch was appearing on my account as well, and told them that. That it is totally disrespectful, when they know there is a system-wide glitch, not to send out notifications about it so each host doesn't have to panic that there is something wrong with their personal account. It's quite inexusable. I can just imagine all the hosts worldwide who don't participate in this forum all upset right now, for no other reason apart from Airbnb not treating its users with basic respect.

I also sent them this as feedback, mentioning how not a week goes by that there isn't some tech glitch on their site or their app and that they need to step up their tech team.

@Sarah977  Agree.  But, even now, hours and hours later with probably a dozen different threads on the same issues....not even a post here by Admin to explain the issue.  Nothing.  I'm not sure where my call was routed, but I did call the 415 SF number in the hopes to get better service.  Ha. So much for that.  The promised follow up email also still  hasn't arrived, no surprise though.

@Shaun69  Airbnb tech team is like a bad guest who spills something all over the bedding, then leaves without mentioning it.

 

I guess you broke the whole system by adding "cereal" to your listing 🙂

 

FYI all- my Superhost stats are back now, but Basic still shows -* for Overall and "needs my attention". LOL
