When your guests flirt with your other half

I am going to preface this by saying that neither my husband nor I are the jealous type and we trust each other completely. However, the other day I just got a vibe about a guest that was based on nothing but my intuition, thinking she may be a tad too friendly. Sure enough I got home that night to find my husband ( who ordinarily wouldn't recognise recognise a pass if a Hail Mary hits him on the head) telling me how flirty the guest had been with him. It just made me a bit uncomfortable. Not because I distrust him but because someone was in my space acting somewhat inappropriately. We laughed about about and that is as far as it went but it made me wonder what similar experiences other hosts have had an what( if anything) they did about it

Surely I can't have been the only host to experience this?

I'm sorry, Kerry. I am married, but I have not experienced this on AirBNB.

My husband does not interact with female guests.

We also do not give out our housekey anymore.

Of course, this is inconvenient for us, however, it allows for more control over who is home when.

Good luck.

Best,

Sofia

It's certainly an odd one!

I work much longer hours than my husband so he has to interact with the guests most of the time. Like I said, I'm not at all concerned about him or his reaction to the advance but it just seems a super weird thing for a guest to do. Oh well, good for stories round the camp fire
