Why did airbnb send me an email saying to update my cover photo?
I got an email from airbnb saying to update for cover photo... in the email says this
"It looks like the cover photo for your listing is blurry, low resolution, or a photo of something other than your listing.
Adding a higher quality cover photo is a simple way to show the value of your listing. That could lead to more bookings, since 60% of other listings in Atlanta have better-quality cover photos."
Your pictures look fine to me, @Cameron31. There are so many automated features to this platform, it must be a glitch. Since you are starting out and your pictures are okay, I suggest you add more welcoming pictures of a staged home. Look at your competition and see what catches your eye. Also, you might add descriptions of what the guest is looking at. Pictures can sell a listing. You might also include some neighborhood pictures. Just a thought...
@Cameron31 Most hosts will say activity on your site keeps your listing towards the beginning of the search. It can be host generated or traveler generated activity. So as you make changes on your listing or travelers look at your listing that helps your rating. You can keep it as is or start to make little changes that enhance your listing
