Why was my guest able to pay less than list price?

 I am the property manager for a listing. My Airbnb account is connected to the listing as the property manager.

A guest was able to pay less than list price.

I didn’t approve of the price  and neither did the owner host.

Why could they do that without getting approval?

@Jason426 It's hard to know without seeing your settings or knowing the length of the booking, but a few ideas:

- You currently have a 10% discount set on this listing, probably as an introductory special.

- You have a 29% weekly discount set on the listing.

- Your payout will be less than your stated nightly rate because Airbnb charges you a 2% fee for handling the booking.

- If you have smart pricing set, it will change the pricing automatically.
