Under "Basic Requirements" it says, "! A few things to work on." Then it says, "What to work on" and has "You" as minus a star (- with a star symbol, meaning a negative star) and the "Target" as "4.7 stars." Then is says, "Guests expect a consistent level of quality, no matter where they stay."
I have clicked on everything that seems "clickable" but can NOWHERE find WHAT SPECIFICALLY it is that I'm getting complaints about. WHERE do I find those details??
Thanks for responding Marzena. That would explain it. I know exactly who that would be and ironically, it's a family member who stayed and felt silly posting a review! I have 5 stars, so far from ALL of my other guests, so I'm not going to worry about it. It would be nice if they did the OBVIOUS and linked actual complaints to their generic comments. Mostly, it's annoying.
@Janine66 The problem is that the Airbnb computer looks for something and raises a flag. but it isn't smart enough to link the 'something' with anything concrete on your listing. So you're left wondering where you went wrong. They basically don't think any of these sorts of things through and the impact it has on the hosts (who they apparently care so much about).
Thanks for responding, Gillian. I think we all know by now that the main reason they're in business is to make money and that's pretty much IT. Frustrating in itself, but even more so because the LOGICAL thing to do, would be to SHOW the actual complaints. How hard would THAT be!?
Aye @Gillian19 the computer in keying off a numerical number (star level in all likelihood ) and then generates one of its adorably 'cute' (aka annoying) suggestions.
