We are set up with instant booking. Apparently I had not increased the rate for a particular weekend and had to cancel my guest. Now the system will not allow me to go in and update the rate? It also appears to have blocked my calendar completely for that particular weekend.
@Jeff-And-Cindy0 Unfortunately that's what happens when hosts cancel. Guests complain bitterly to Airbnb when their confirmed reservations are cancelled because the host didn't keep their pricing updated. Because of this, I'm afraid you won't get any sympathy from Airbnb. It is the host's responsibility to manage their calendars for availabilty (especially when using multiple sites to list their property) and pricing. Here's what Airbnb has to say about host cancellations:
