@Maria165, after glancing at your listing by linking from your profile, I found your listing (in a different browser) after narrowing the price slider to $45-55 and then filtering for some of the amenities you list. (Until I added 8-10 of the amenities, the search was still popping up almost 300 matches.)

Unrelated to the search issue, your listing has one very bad and nonsensical setting: It lists the check-out time as 1pm, but the check-in time as noon. Not even The Flash can clean in negative 1 hour! I recommend that you not only reverse those two times, but even expand the difference between.

Thanks! I went in a fixed the check in / check out times and made a few other adjustments, but I am still no clearer on what to do to have people find me without  entering every single kind of amenities in the filtering device. Any other suggestions????

Nothing to do with your searchability, but I do suggest you change your cancellation policy from the way-too-forgiving "Flexible" to either Moderate or even Strict. (Which is what we use.) Flexible leaves you wide open to last minute cancellations that can leave you with hard to book dates.

Addressing your search-result appearance -- If lookers search in Philly in general (as oppsosed to Zip codes or neighborhoods), then your issue is simply the huge number of listings. So, you'll need to compete on your details (# of bedrooms, etc) and your amenities (provide as many as you can because you never know which ones a guest will search for). When I search all of Philly even in a very narrow price range ($45-55), i get almost 300 hits. You have to hope that lookers use add'l filters.
