I have read all the articles and have heard all of the explanations from airbnb regarding search results, algorithms and listings. The one thing I have not been able to get a clear answer on is why certain 'hosts' that are actually businesses with multiple listings have their many units show up in every search that I do. It does not seem random (like finding my own listing is). A search will show 3, 4, etc., of the units they have available. There are over 1000 units in my area available so I certainly understand why every one will not show up on each search. Why then do these businesses show up on every search? I'd like to know how they are creating their settings in order to accomplish this. Or, is there an algorithm created specifically for them?
