super host

Is there an award for a host who drove her guest on a 6 hour plus round trip so he could reach his next destination when the bus refused to allow him on board even though he's booked a ticket?  He had planned to ride his bike from Melbourne to Sydney but the weather was so hot (expected 40 degree) he booked a bus ticket and wasn't allowed to take the bike on board.  To make that offer was amazing!

Wow @Fran1 this is amazing. I presume the host you are talking about is you?

No way.  I was the guests next host and was amazed to see him being dropped of at my door with his biike.  I don't know the name of his previous host but she was in Orbost, Victoria and the guest's name was Thomas ***.

I bet the trip scenerywise was amazing too. 

I hope you don't mind, but I am just going to remove the surname of the guest for privacy reasons. 🙂
