suspicious inquiry/member

Hi,

I just recieved an enquiry from someone in Australia asking if they could book for next year for 12 people when I clearly state I can sleep 9 max.  The weird thing is the language used and also that the message was repeated over 100 times.....so when i read it on my app it is pages and pages long just repeating the same message.

Let me know what you think....

Dear Host

Are you taking any bookings for 2017 please we are looking for accommodation for 2017 from the 2/7/17 for 7 nights we are matured guests with a family get together coming from Australia to meet up with a family in Spain. We are 9 adults and 3 children 10yrs, 8yrs and 5 yrs would you consider that number? We are a strict family there will be no parties and we will look after your home as our home. Look forward hearing from you Kind regards Nomonde Cole 16 Woods Point Road Warburton 3799 Victoria Australia +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (EMAIL HIDDEN)

Then it starts again and again!

Is this something I should report some how to Airbnb?  I dont quite understand how they can scam me from this but its very odd and the language is very scammy.

Thanks!

Chloe

I would think this is fine. The repeated messages just may be a glitch. Remember also that not all Australians have english as their first language. If in doubt start a dialogue and find out more.

Hello Chloe

I am don't see anything particularly 'weird' about the language used. (maybe from their name English isn't their first language).

However, more importantly they are asking you to accomodate 12 when you maximum is 9, so just politely decline on these grounds.
