AIRBNB should make a spot so hosts can exchange their places for free. Give a fee to AIRBNB because we are using the site to make this connection and make it host only access to the link/location. It would benefit Hosts who have down time at their places and would encourage more people to become hosts. Come on AIRBNB, make this happen. It will only make the company more money.

Use homeexchange.com.
They are specialized in home exchanges and ask for a reasonable fee.
I have used them since 2006, and the exchanges (around 34?) have brought me all over the world.
Have you heard of Hostshare? You easily add your Airbnb listings, sync your calendars so it updates for you as you get bookings and you only have to share a few of your last minute, unbooked nights in exchange for 21 free travel to use at any other home on the platform. Hostshare is specifically made for hosts which is such a game changer, compared to Home Exchange.

We have recently launched a service that does exactly this: **
We are offering free registration until the first 100 hosts have joined.
I'd be happy to discuss how it works. My wife and I are getting away once a month these days at a fraction of the cost.
