Add dates prior to showing prices

Hi everyone.   I notice some host sites do not show how much the price is UNTIL the guest puts the dates in.   Why is this?   I really would love to change my listing so the guests do not see prices until the dates are put in.   My prices change constantly and it looks like Airbnb is reflecting the highest price I would charge and this may be causing guests to just skip my listing.

Any thoughts my wise Airbnb friends.

@Caroline2213 this sounds sensible to me as prices vary a lot with date so anything shown earlier is somewhat irrelevant.
