Adding Jpeg to message thread

The NEW platform does not allow for jpegs to be added. I used to be able to add from my picture albums on my phone or laptop. Now, it only allows for pictures off my desktop, but not from an album.

IF THEY want us to stay on platform, WHY make it so hard! Does anyone have a solution?

I have just checked and I can add a jpg from a folder without any problem.

But why not drag or save a copy of the image to your desktop, then attach it.
