Hi, my name is Holger. I have been a host in Singapore, UK and Germany. I wonder if anyone can share experiences with hosting small apartments in the City of London? Looking forward to getting to know you all!

If you want to rent out a whole listing you can only do so for up to 90 days .

Many apartments have restrictions against STRs.

London is an oversaturated STR market so do your market research first before deciding to do this @Holger141

Hi Holger, I was a resident host (ie. offering rooms in my home) in London for several years, and I am considering starting it again. This is a different business to offering out a whole flat, I know.  As @Helen3 has said, you need to be aware that the rules in London are that entire flats can only be booked for 90 nights per year. AirBNB complies with this and will not allow you to exceed this limit.
