Airbnb changing my booking settings?

I am having a problem now right now with an airbnb instant booking that came through outside of our required 24 hour notice period and for 1 night even though we have a 2 night minimum.

We received a 1 night booking request yesterday for tonight (new years eve). I rejected this request because it does not pencil out for us and takes too hard a toll on us. Then a few hours later at 8:30  pm someone instantly booked for the same one night. 


airbnb is telling me that I changed the settings which I absolutely did not do. Has anyone had these experiences? I am thinking of contacting the better business bureau. Any advice?

Ok...I would also check what devices accessed your account:

Go to Account

Login & Security

Device History

Under Device history, you’ll find a list of logins to your Airbnb account, including:

• What browser or device
• What time
• Where it was accessed from

Do you know your husband's password and/or have access to his Co Host account?

You should be able to logoff as you and login as him and change his password (if you think he would be ok with that).

No worries...very odd situation. When you check the device that logged in and made the change you should be able to know if it's one of yours or your husbands. I believe you can also delete the device from that screen.

I've encountered a bug when unblocking nights that were blocked, where I selected the blocked dates clicked open nights, and it prompted "two night minimum must be turned off" and had to click yes, then I went back and added the two night rules, but almost missed it. Maybe something like this happened if you had a holiday blocked off then decided to open it? 

This is the only time something like this happened. It could be some other bug also. It def didn't made sense that it prompted me to drop the two night minimum in order to unblock the nights.
