We booked an Airbnb in London, when finally arriving and checking in the host tells us that we need to go to the concierge desk to get a key. Plus tells me to say my name is Vejiha their friend….because Airbnb is not permitted there. At this point it’s past midnight and i have My children and family. We are at the concierge for 20+ minutes bc they say there’s no key. I’m communicating with the hosts asking them to please just call the desk but they refuse and are emailing back and forth with them instead.
We finally make it in the apartment and it’s not cleaned and the sofa bed they said is available completely sinks.
we didn’t feel comfortable staying there and decided to leave as soon as morning came. Put in a request to checkout early and the host denied. We were leaving either way because we didn’t feel safe nor comfortable remaining there.
we inform Airbnb and it’s now 4 days later still no resolution. This is so incredibly frustrating and the reason I will not use Airbnb again
