I hope everything went well. Can someone tell me how to maximize this booking? What is optimization?

Unless I'm doing something wrong, Airbnb really need to make it so that we can sell bank holiday weekends as a whole without someone chopping it up.
I thought I had cracked it this year by adding a minimum night to my bank holiday weekends, all good until someone books from before the bank holiday and then leave midway through and they only booked two nights. So I've lost the whole bank holiday weekend because someone has decided to book the 2 days prior. The problem is that unless I add a minimum booking to every night leading up to the bank holiday I can't guarantee it being sold as a whole.
Maybe I've missed something and there's something you all do to get around this but from where I am this is something that Airbnb need to implement urgently. This is the third year now my bank holidays have been messed up and I need an effective solution as it's costing me money 🙂
Also, I may be imagining it but I feel like I'm earning less money since the guest fee transfer. Obviously the percentages have gone up and I know they automatically increased prices to compensate for this but then with a higher percentage they deduct a higher fee surely so does the percentage increase directly cover the additional fee?
You can apply no check-in and/or no checkout rules as required @Alex10983

It does take some getting used to, but very helpful.
Thanks for getting back to me, I have had a look but it seems like if I create a rule it's applied for every week of the year. Not just the bank holiday weekend 🙂 Apologies if I missed the right part but I'm after something that lets me create rules for specific dates.
@Alex10983 select the dates on the multi-calendar (the linear one), then on the right side of the screen, create the rule.
When the rule has been named and saved, you can apply it to other dates later (select the dates and select the saved rule).
Hope it makes sense?
