I’ve been trying to book an airbnb for 2 weeks now but they keep blocking me from paying and saying “detected party” when i’m not. the house is said to fit 14 people and i have 13 people to stay. We are coming from sydney to golf coast and need a place to stay asap. i’ve called customer service at least 10 times now and they keep saying they’ll transfer me to a “specialist team” and will message me through email 24 hrs later. i have not received one email from them and have gotten the same message back every time i call them up. how ridiculous. I understand why they have these restrictions but what about people who genuinely want to stay with no party and just want a place to sleep. i can’t even receive the help i need to unblock my account. The people staying are around the age of 20 to 21 which is probably why we are flagged which is understandable but can we at least get some customer service to help us out?!
The airbnbs that we planned on staying are now booked thanks to all this.
