Asked about issue, met with a ban

I was on my husband's account asking around in the forums and live chat support about an issue we are having with his account. We were being met with the "Update your trip details to get accurate pricing and more" error that's been around for YEARS for other users.

 

I was ofc sent to the "specialized team" that other users claimed didn't resolve their issue. I added to the live chat that I need this fixed as we redeemed 300$ worth of gift cards on my husband's account and would like to use it, otherwise it seems scammy on airbnb's part.

 

Next thing I know, our account was deactivated for "violating community guidelines"!!! So we are never getting that 300$ that we are gifted with! Any help?

Was it because you were using your husband's account @Caleb219 

 

Your post isn't clear what issues was your husband encountering with his account and why did you need to be on his account and post on forums asking for advice.

 

Hope your husband gets issues sorted out with his account.
