How can I send check in info to a Guest on the day of check in? Not actual check in info but more a reminder or inquiry?

Specifically, I send an email in the late morning of the day of check in asking : " Hi (Guest), Just checking in. to see how your travels were coming along? Thanks, Me" I'd like to send this automatically around 11 AM. Thoughts?

seems a bit over the top... I ask this, manually through AirBnB app messenger, only if I have guests staying longer than a week. I try not to bother guests plus I work from home with my dog on the premises so I get to see my guests when I mow, garden or relieve my dog. whenever I get a chance to mingle I will nonchalantly. 

Your email thing, I believe you can do that with Google mail in the notification settings.
