Awful Identity verification process

Awful Identity verification process

The beginning of the process asked me to have their software control taking a picture of the front and back of my drivers license.  It never did anything. I tried moving the camera around, but it never took an image.  I decided to take the pictures myself and upload them. It then complained that the pictures were too big.  I shrunk the pictures.  Next step was for them to take a selfie to compare with my drivers license. Without surprise, their software did nothing.  I moved the camera in and out, up and down., and turned it.  Nothing. I decided to contact their “customer service”.  I have already been waiting for an hour in the call queue.  If every new customer must go through this, AirBnB is doomed. The stock should suffer.

Identity verification through airbnb is horrendous.

I have hi def cameras on my phone and computer and every time the app or the website take control it's the quality of my daughter's Fisher Price Laugh & Learn camera. Then you upload photos of your ID and the images are too large.

I can scan my eyes at the airport and walk through TSA onto an airplane but I can't verify my identity with 20 photos to book a 1-bedroom ocean view for 4 nights. El. Oh. El.
