Bad guests

How do I complain to Airbnb about some terrible guest who left my place filthy after one night and smoked inside when against my house rules

@Hilary52  You don't. Airbnb doesn't care about bad guests and their behavior has to be extremely egregious for Airbnb to ban them from the platform. Leaving the place filthy and smoking don't even come close.

It falls to hosts to enforce their own house rules. 

Just leave an honest review of the guest.

I did leave a bad review - I feel they should be banned from Airbnb- they seemed to have helped themselves to my bathroom scales as well

@Hilary52  Sorry you had this awful guest. And what a weird thing to steal- a bathroom scale.

There's a lot of guests who should be banned, but Airbnb doesn't.

@Hilary52 You can always report the guest. What Airbnb does with that is a tossup, but it’s worth a try.

@Colleen253  I've wondered if a guest gets reported, if Airbnb might put some note on their  account and if it happens more than a certain number of times, they get booted.
