Bed size recommendations

Bed size recommendations

Hi everyone, I’m furnishing my home getting it ready to list and I’m wondering how big of a difference it will make to go with 2 Twin XL beds in one of the rooms over going with 2 standard Twin sizes.  Any feedback is welcome, I’d like to do it the right way first if possible.

@Gene900   I assume that the room will accommodate the longer beds without looking too cramped.  If your ideal guests are families with young children, then regular twin bed sizes should be fine.  If you think that you will attract groups with single adults who would benefit from the longer beds, then you may wish to go with the twin XL.

(Be sure to have spare XL sheets on hand should you need to replace damaged sheets -- I don't know how easy it is to get the longer sheets.)

Best wishes for lots of bookings!

@Gene900,

I have two twin XL beds in one bedroom, because they easily convert into a comfortable and true size king bed when they are pushed together with a gap pad insert and mattress pad topper.  Regular twin size mattresses are 5 inches shorter than twin XL/queen/king mattresses.
