I’ve had a home booked since March 5th. Host just contacted me today saying that the unit needs repairs and will be unavailable for my trip that is 3 weeks away. They linked two other properties to switch to, one of which did not have the same amenities and another is somewhat comparable but not as nice. I’m unsure why the original site is being repaired. Should I be concerned? Or ask for a discount before switching to the new unit?
@Taylor695 if you can find something the same or better on Airbnb then call customer service and ask them to force the original host to cancel your reservation.
It's been a while since you posted and I'm wondering whether you managed to get a resolution to your question?
