Booking for today they they now want to bring a child. I can't cancel as it's too late, she won't cancel as she'll lose money

She says they are on their way 2 adults and child. My listing is 2 in the room adults only. What can I do when she turns up at my door?

@Liz76 If the child is under 2 then you can do nothing as they 'don't count' in Airbnb land. If the child is over 2 and your limit is two people then you can refuse them entry but you will have to fully refund the guest (however mad that sounds given they have broken your rules).

Many thanks for your reply. I managed to talk to someone at Airbnb and they have canceled the booking and issued the guest with a full refund. I'm still really cross that the guest was able to put me in this position she wasted my time and potentially lost me another booking.

I list my property has n olt safe I smoke and some still try but I am  protected.  Just a thought your description talks about "Cliff Path" and "Beach"..  Both could be considered unsafe some 2 years can walk.  Maybe picture of your exterior access and marking your property unsafe because you don't have 24 hour monitoring of those areas.+
