Bookings

As it’s our first year sometimes we’re very busy. October is been quiet only one booking a couple in November and then booked pretty good for December.
Are we doing it right? I wonder.

How does other people find Airbnb?

Thank you

@Eamon64 , I think it varies with location (weather). October we were booked solid, November as well and December is steady (we blocked off a week as we will be away). And you are correct, it’s easier if you don’t completely rely on the Airbnb income.

Hello. I am relief to see your post. I just signed up about 1 month now, and it's the same for me. I am thinking it's just a season thing.

Yes, we’ve only had Two bookings this month December is going to be a lot better which is good next year January February Quiet

But I still enjoy doing Airbnb

As long as you’re not solely Depending on the income, I think it’s a great way to earn some extra money

Traditionally November - February is our quieter months. It typically begins to pick up sometime in March or April when the weather is warm again. The busiest months here are between June - August.

Then again, a lot of long term hosts (for example @Robin4 , @Helen3) may find that they continue to get bookings despite the decreased demand during the slower months. This is because they have worked up a good reputation, and their listings are extremely competitive. This is why you may hear them saying that they get more and more bookings year over year. I can believe them, because with the current review system this is more or less what happens over time if you continue to rack up good reviews.
