Can’t read guest name.

Recently, I had a guest from South Korea. His name was listed in Korean characters. I can’t read Korean. What do I call this customer if I run into him??

Just ask this guest ?

They usually provide an equivalent name in English.

Sometimes putting the Korean name in Google Translate gives good result.

I’m sure your guest understands that most people can’t read Korean. If you run into them, introduced yourself and ask their name.

there’s usually a box translation somewhere on your guest profile.

Monsieur ou Madame c'est selon, fonctionne toujours.

Mister or Misses usually works.

Hello @Jean9172 😊 Some hosts have shared their advice. Did Google Translate work as mentioned by host Emiel, or did you have a chance to introduce yourself to the guest and ask for their name?

Looking forward to hearing how this went so other hosts can learn from your experience.
