Can't trust Airbnb

 

We had a guest from hell. She basically disregarded all the rules of the house and we made sure we documented on the Airbnb chat. She broke items, got everything wet on the condo but the worst was a damage to an expensive nightstand where she dropped something and it completely destroyed it.

When we contacted Airbnb they asked her to pay for it which she obviously denied. We expected Airbnb to cover the repair with AirCover (which is a joke) and they said it was wear and tear and also denied the claim. I am hoping someone else decent besides this company comes along.  In the meantime, we will use Vrbo and Bookings.com as alternatives. Eventually we will pull all our 5 properties from this crappy app.
