How it can be possible that someone sent me a cancelation request for today and when I check the app the guest is not changed for cancel the same day of the booking???
I mean they supposed to arrive yesterday I didn’t then today morning they want to cancel the rest pf the booking (2 nights more) and I tell them that the can use the app to do it and the app allows them to cancel without any fee for late cancelation?!!?
for some reason guests are also to cancel a reservation (flat out) or request that the host cancels their reservation. This seems to be the later case, under no circumstance accept it as it will be noted down as if you cancelled the reservation and you would be penalised for it. please do contact Airbnb directly and see what they recommend you do- they might be able to cancel on behalf of the guest and you would be paid out according to your cancellation policy! either way- good luck to you!
