I had this reservation cancelled however when I went back online to look for other places to stay this very same home is showing as available for the night I was to stay there. I'd like to know why a property that just cancelled on me is still showing as available? To say I am upset is an understatement. This property should not be listed if they just cancelled my reservation with no reason provided.

Pretty bad service if you ask me

@Bill1425 If you were already booked then this could not happen theoretically. If you had only made a request to book then you could be turned down if the host has a minimum number of nights greater than one,but if the host actually cancelled you then they would find that day blocked and would be unable to take another guest. It may be that day is only 'checkout ' not check in.Some hosts may sometimes have two bookings for the one day, its possible that another booking overlapped your booking and was also cancelled. Hello @Bill1425,
I am sorry to hear that you are currently facing this situation. As @Helen744 has already mentioned, the initial step would be to contact the host and gain a better understanding of the situation. Additionally, you can always reach out to the Airbnb Support Team for further assistance. I have included the link here for your convenience.

Theoretically, this is 'impossible' to happen; hosts can't cancel and re-offer a place.
Question: does the place now shows at a higher price?
@Bill1425 this can happen if you Instant Booked and then the host, for some reason, was uncomfortable with you as a guest and cancelled. Did you have any communication with the host?
