Change Reservation

I've got a guest who wants to come a day earlier than their original booking. This will be my first time adjusting a reservation in AirBnb. I'd like to offer them a 25% discount off our our stated rate on the earlier date, but when I try to change the reservation and adjust the accommodation price, I get an error message saying something went wrong. The overall price from which the payment request will be sent isn't updating with my manually adjusted pricing. Can I get some help?

It useally should work as described by you.

The only reason i can think of it fails can be: 

- The price per night goes below minimum

- Your settings (lenght of stay etc..prevents the desired change)

- the new check-in date is current date

- You changed check-in date, but did not select check-out date (again)

Maybe try a two step change:

- First change the dates.(guest need to accept)

- If i works create a second change adjusting the price (guest need to accept again)
