That’s a tough question to answer. If it’s about the cleaning fee, we include ours in our price now. There’s so many extra charges between taxes and Airbnb fees. We didn’t want to include the extra fee. So we just built it in and raised the price. We actually got better gas after we raise the price so that’s something..

During the slow season, you could try offering discounts,. The problem with slow seasons is, there’s just not a lot of demand during those seasons. And if you lower the price too much, you may end up with more problems than is worth it.

Also consider a perk. Free tickets to a museum for example. Or breakfast foods in the fridge.

We have a two day minimum. We have considered no minimum on some weeks but the system doesn’t let us change the rules by time period. (That might have changed?)

Consider this as an alternative. Raise prices when there is something going on in the city (sports, concerts, conventions) and lower when things are slow. That might even out your cash flow.

Good luck.

Slow season is something most of us experience, so don’t worry. One helpful tip is to slightly lower your prices during the slow season to attract more bookings and improve visibility. Also, keeping your calendar updated and responding quickly helps a lot.

Hope this helps, and wishing you a great hosting journey ahead!
