Despite receiving confirmation from AirBNB that my new Payment details were successfully amended, and that the website indicated that I had a Nil/Zero balance owing, my reservation was automatically cancelled 1 week before Xmas, and now neither AirBNB or the host ** will take responsibility for refunding my deposit (paid in May 2023). Each point to the other for a solution.
I tried in vain for days before the cancellation to resolve, with nil direct action or meaningful follow up.
