Desktop Notifications

Hi All, I've been a co host for a few weeks now and I want to streamline my replies to guests as much as possible, so I was hoping to starting running my listings on my computer, one thing is that I don't receive any notifications on desktop and was hoping for them to show up as well as play a sound, is there any way to do this on computer or do notifications only come through on phone? I've looked at multiple different methods and nothing allows me to get these notifications. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it 😊

What motivated you to switch from co-hosting to hosting?

Never relied on desktop to advise of an Airbnb message. I do primarily use the desktop (not the App), but keep my phone near me when working to get notifications. You can receive SMS notifications and email notifications in your Account Settings though.

Although some desktop applications can have sound, when I searched it says Airbnb does not provide this on the desktop version:

"No, the desktop version of the Airbnb website does not play a sound for messages; instead, you must rely on email or SMS notifications for message alerts, which can be enabled in your account's notification settings. While the Airbnb mobile app has built-in notifications, the web version lacks this feature, and users have requested its return for improved responsiveness as hosts, according to Facebook discussion"
