@Jarrad5 Yes, of course you can. In fact most hosts mention in their house rules that no unregistered guests or visitors are allowed on the property, and reiterate that when guests book.
Airbnb doesn't have some swat team that will come deal with unruly, objectionable guests. You have to maintain and take control of what goes on in your rental. As soon as any unwanted activity is observed,you should act on it.
You start by sending the guest a message. If there is no suitable response, you will need to take action.
Of course you should never put your safety at risk, so you should have friends or family you can call on if a situation feels intimidating for you to deal with on your own.
You can't always tell if people are local. Some guests have their location listed on their profile. And hosts message with guests and ask them questions about the reason for their visit, etc, to try to determine if these are guests they want to accept or whether the communication, or lack thereof, throws up red flags.
Are you using Instant Book, or do you require that guests send requests?
