Drug use, broken rules

Does anyone respond these? NO emails or phone to contact.

I just had a very bad experience with a client recommended of yours, the person had an alcohol and drug problem, locked himself in the apartment for weeks, got into a serious health problem and had to be rushed to the hospital. Damages and dirty apartment is what I have left and no one to claim about the situation. Serious background check problems because I was told the same thing happened at another Airbnb location in Colombia. Cannot believe the danger hosts are put through.

@Alex6537   This is not Airbnb's customer service; it's a public forum for peers.

I'm not sure whom you meant to address it to. It's not standard practice for Airbnb to "recommend" guests to hosts. If they have any past reviews, those come from previous hosts. If there was physical damage, you can initiate a claim by following this procedure:  https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/264/

Thank you, I appreciate it.   I have not found an email or contact for Airbnb, it is frustrating not to find easily who to present a claim about a tenant.  It was a very serious situation,  I need to let them know.

@Alex6537 It's a myth that Airbnb vet guests & 'recommend' them, or do background checks. - I've read that users are checked on a database for the most serious, extreme crimes, but on the whole, the fact that Airbnb allows a guest to join & book, is no endorsement. Your guests could be anybody! There are no background checks for drug & alcohol issues.

It's up to the HOST to be careful who they let into their homes.

You can report the guest to Airbnb by clicking 'Report this profile' at the bottom of their profile page, below the reviews.

Make sure you write an honest review of the guest, so that other hosts are warned - and don't accept them. Give them a 1 star review in all categories. Maybe don't use the words drug & alcohol, because Airbnb may remove this for being too personal, but make it clear he indulged in extreme bad behaviour, and left a mess & dirt behind.

Use the RESOLUTION CENTRE to claim damages.
