Elevator stuck 5th floor

Hello, can someone give me advice? Since the 23th of december the elevator has been out of service in the apartment that I rent on the 5th floor. There are people who are staying for one week since the 24th. Do I have to refund them because they complain several times? I understand that this is not nice. How much do you advice me to pay back ? The elevator can only be repaired within 2 weeks. It is the first time that this happens so I have no idea what to do. Thank you!!
