Hi, I recently received a 4 star rating with a note saying the place was great, but there was no space to congregate outside. My listing does not advertise any outside space. I believe this is the only 4-star rating I have received. Is there any recourse? Thanks. Tammy
It happens guest give lower ratings because expect something which is not offered (wishful thinking, but not reading the listing ) !
if it happens incidentally to me, i delete my (mostly good) review for the guest !

That can definitely be frustrating, especially when your listing doesn't advertise any outdoor gathering space. Unfortunately, guests can't usually be asked to change a review simply because they rated based on a preference rather than something you advertised.
If the review is otherwise positive and doesn't violate the platform's review policy, it's unlikely to be removed. However, you could leave a polite public response thanking the guest for their stay and clarifying that your listing does not include or advertise outdoor common space. This helps set expectations for future guests.
The good news is that one 4-star review among many 5-star reviews is unlikely to have a significant impact on your overall rating.
