Hostile guest, threatened cleaner.. how to proceed?

I had my first bad guest experience and I'm unsure how to proceed. It's made very clear that our checkout time is 10 am. My cleaners let him know that they were there and ready to clean at 10:15. At 10:25, the told him that they would need to come inside at 10:30 to clean as we have another check in today. He then proceeded to yell and swear at one of them, GD this, F*&^ this, sit the F%^# down and shut up, called her names etc.. We also had a plumber there that felt so threatened that he stopped working to keep his eye on him. The guest then grabbed the axe that he brought with him, threw it over his shoulder and walked around the house with it. The cleaners and the plumber felt very threatened. When they finally did leave (at 11 am) he yelled that his partner had COVID and that they would all get it now. How do I proceed? Though he was very communicative while he was there, saying how great the cabin was, I know he will slam me in a review. Also, I obviously want other owners to know as I would never rent to this man again.

@Lee3597  Report his behavior to Airbnb and leave an honest review.

And if a guest refuses to leave on time in the future, don't leave it to your cleaners to deal with- they should let you know right away and you message the guest re the need to respect check-out time.

@Lee3597  I had to read your post twice to make sure I saw things correctly. "The guest then grabbed the axe that he brought with him, threw it over his shoulder and walked around the house with it." This is not ok in any situation. The reason behind this unwarranted confrontational and hostile behavior could be dangerous.  You need to alert airbnb and let them know what happened, so they can proceed accordingly, hopefully with the end result being the termination of his account.

In the future if a guest ever displays threatening behaviors towards you are staff on site, remove yourself from the situation and call authorities.

Glad that everyone was ok, and hopefully the Covid related statement was simply said in anger, but you should make sure you and the others on site get tested accordingly.
