Hostile neighbors intimating my Airbnb guest by blocking my garage door entrance through 18 foot wide shared driveway space.

I need advice on many aspects of this problem, because it has escalated over the past two years, beginning with just blocking me in for spite and now trying to block my Airbnb guest since I avoid engaging with their periodic bullying. I am not in a financial position to pay a property lawyer what it would cost, so I have been documenting with pictures and notes but this weekend my poor guest was traumatized when they called the police and said he dented their side gutter. He was on his way to an interview and ended up being late after being boxed in till the police arrived. The police explained that the dent in the rain gutter could NOT have been cause be the guest car due to the angle and several other factors.

For proof of this behavior affecting my business, I want to compensate my guest for this "hostile neighbor incident" via small refund through Airbnb or Venmo.

It will make me feel better for my guest not blaming me and show proof of damages for future evidence.

As for my Houston residence, we do not have a HOA and there are no deed restrictions against running a business out of your home. My guest pay %18 in hotel occupancy tax directly to Airbnb, so the City of Houston does not have a problem with Airbnb.

Let me know your thoughts and very appreciative of any free legal advice.

@Sheri76  If there is no way to legally partition the driveway to make it separate, you're going to have to try 'peace talks' with your neighbor to set some new ground rules and attempt a fresh start.  My only other thought is if it is possible to paint the house number/lines on the drive way to make it clear which spaces go to which unit?

You should offer the neighbor a cut of the rental fee. It sucks to live next to an Airbnb.
